In a major step towards improving water accessibility, the City of Kadoma has constructed a Water Kiosk in the newly developed suburb of Pixie Combie. This initiative, which involved drilling a borehole and installing taps, aims to provide a reliable source of clean water to residents who previously faced challenges in accessing safe drinking water.

The outbreak of cholera epidemic was reported in October 2023 and Kadoma recorded cases in January 2024.Council had preparatory workshops with different stakeholders and an Incident team was setup with the knowledge and skills as well as for prompt responses.
